Bring a project to work on and enjoy the company of fellow quilters. Quilting bees offer the best opportunity to meet and get to know other members of the Guild. It is a great place to be inspired and to pick up new ideas from other quilters as well as to get advice on your own projects. There are two bees each month.
A bee at the Waterford School is held on the first Wednesday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Members bring their own projects to work on, as well as a brown bag lunch. There is coffee and tea in the kitchen.
On the fourth Wednesday of every month a bee is held at the home of one of the members from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is an occasion to work on your own project and share lunch with others. The hostess provides the main dish and beverages, and members are invited to contribute side dishes, such as salads or deserts. There is an annual signup sheet for members to volunteer to host a bee.
