Field Trips

Several times a year, on the third Wednesday of the month,  members as a group make day trips to visit quilting museums, quilt exhibits, quilt shops, and other venues of interest to quilters. Field trips give members an opportunity to not only get to know each other better, but also to find fabrics and quilting supplies that may not be available locally. In the past members have visited the Textile Museum of the George Washington University in Washington DC, the Virginia Quilt Museum in Harrisonburg, VA, and various quilt-related venues in Baltimore MD, Solomon’s Island MD, Winchester VA, and Lancaster PA. The trips always include lunch at local restaurants.
