Field Trips

Several times a year, on the third Wednesday of the month, ¬†members make day trips as a group to visit quilting museums, quilt exhibits, quilt shops, and other venues of interest to quilters. Field trips give members an opportunity to get to know each other better, as well as to find fabrics and quilting supplies that may not be available locally. Members have visited the Textile Museum of the George Washington University in Washington DC, the Virginia Quilt Museum in Harrisonburg, VA, and various quilting venues in Baltimore MD, Solomon’s Island MD, Winchester VA, and Lancaster PA. The trips include lunch at local restaurants.
